Woodbury is located west of Murfreesboro and is the County seat of Cannon County. The house is within view of Short Mountain, the highest point in middle Tennessee at 2,074 feet above sea level.

The house has over 3,000 square feet of finished space including the main level and the finished walk-out basement.

Let's start inside on the main living level. The first floor includes the kitchen, dining area, laundry room, living room, master bedroom with his and her closets and a master bath, a second bedroom, a second bath, and an office/study.

To the right, you see the upstairs living room. It's been updated with hardwood floors, fresh paint colors and new lighting. Notice that the room is large enough for furniture and still allows room to move about. Plenty of natural light comes in from the two windows in front.

The living room is connected to the dining area and kitchen, which are also updated, including new countertops, fresh-look cabinets, new lighting, and ceramic tile floors. The kitchen includes an electric cooktop, built-in microwave, oven, new refrigerator-freezer with water dispenser and icemaker, and dishwasher. There is plenty of additional storage including a small pantry off the laundry room (adjacent to the dining area).

The dining area is shown below with the new french doors leading to the back covered patio. This view shows a small dining table, but don't worry, there's plenty of room for a larger table with more seating.

The master bedroom and bath are on the main level on the end opposite the kitchen and living room. In the photo on the right, you can see the his-and-hers closet areas with new bi-fold doors.

An oak-tread stairway leads from the dining area to the lower level. On the lower level, there is a finished walk-out basement with a large den, two bedrooms, a study (or small bedroom), a full bath, and a utility room.

The very large den on the lower level includes a ventless gas fireplace. In addition to access to the upper dining/kitchen area by the stairs, this room also provides direct access to the outdoors through new French doors. Just outside, there is a space that would be perfect for the new Owner to create a second patio or even add a sunroom. Since this room spans from the front of the house to the back, it is large enough for seating for conversation or movies plus a game/entertaining area.

Here are the lower level bath and the two bedrooms:

If you enter/exit the house at the front, you'll land on the long front porch. There is plenty of room on the porch for sitting and enjoying the view of the lawn and of the open fields across from the house. If you enjoy a spring or summer rain, the porch is wide enough to stay dry and sit and watch the rain.

Just outside of the kitchen/dining area, is a very large rear patio with room for relaxing or entertaining. Since the large roof protects it from the weather, it's suitable for grilling in any season.

In Spring, the property is colorful with white, yellow, and pink blooms. The lawn area contains blooming plants that include Bradford Pear trees, trees with edible pears, a Dogwood, Crape Myrtles, a crabapple, a very large weeping cherry, Forsythias, and Redbuds. Behind the metal workshop, there is room for a large vegetable garden.

In summer, the Bradford pears and large deciduous trees in the back provide shade. The wooded area of the property in the back of the house gives the sense of living on the edge of a forest.

A small field suitable for grazing is adjacent to the front lawn and separated by the fence you see in the photos above and below.

In addition to the house itself, the property includes a very large garage, a new workshop, and an older outbuilding. The garage is an oversized, 2-car garage with a second floor, an enclosed side room, and a rear lean-to. The shop is a metal building with four windows, a walk-in door, and an overhead door.

The house is set back from the country road (Blanton School Road) and has an asphalt driveway, with a paved turnaround, leading to the garage. The house is served by a new high efficiency combination cooling/heating unit with gas heat. Both levels have their own water heater and their own septic systems.

These outbuildings give you plenty of room to park your vehicles out of the weather and also lots of space for crafts, hobbies, and storage.
